Loving God, Loving others.

In order to really Love others one need to live in close proximity to the one where love originates. Perhaps one of the greatest revelations of God is that He is a father, not just in the past but right now. His Love is unconditional and  when His love is recieved and experienced it can accomplish anything. When Gods love is recieved and experienced it transforms. He goes  to work and  rewires us so that we won’t short circut when His love which is a power, flows to us then in us and then through us.

The New testament tells us that the Word came to Mary, then the Word came into Mary, then Mary delivered the Word. Jesus is the Word! So then,  to be close to God one need to be close to the Word and we know that Jesus is the Word.  John tells us in his book that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was Life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. John 1:1-5

One must then  recieve Jesus so he can reveal the Father to us. To as many as recieve Him he gave the right to be a child of God. Taste and see that the Lord is good, one has to recieve and experience,  before the Word can be delivered through us. When His Love came into my life, it did something in me that I had never before experienced, nothing I had exeperienced would compare to His amazing Love. So I conclude that before you attempt to love someone, recieve the Love that trandsend all others so that your love blended with His can have a powerful impact on those you love. Human love just dosen’t get it done, but God’s Love transforms those in whom you give it. You have to Love that. God is Love!

    Pastor Dave,
My family and I have been attending your worship for three weeks running now. I’ve never before experienced such a presence of Jesus among a large group. We truly enjoy our time spent in Bay Valley’s walls. Thank you to you and your entire staff for making us feel welcome and free to receive God’s Love completely!
    God bless,
