Love came to town

No one could get to heaven no matter how hard they tried, Continue reading

imageLet me begin with a question. Could the feeling of loneliness be in direct relation of you being separated from God? Can a Christian who has a relationship with God be lonely?
In both cases God is not far from us but we can be far from Him. The absence of the father in our life can cause the feeling of loneliness. The bible says draw near to God and He will draw near to you. So many people neglect their relationship with God and fill that relationship with other relationships, habits, tv, hobbies. loneliness can set in even while you may be in a crowd. A busy life, Will lead you to the same feeling when you slow down. When that happens most people jump right back into being busy rather then drawing near to God. Jesus said that He was the way the truth and the life no man gets to the father except through Him. In other words the bible ( Word of God ) is Jesus. John 1:1-5
The Eternal Word
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
Would you mind if I was straight forward? Get into Jesus! Get into His Word and allow it to renew your mind and transform you. Romans 12:1,2.
Loneliness will leave when you quit filling your life with empty, temporary things and draw near to Jesus Christ who is eternal and get filled up. Good bye loneliness and hello God:)

Gods love compels

Once you experience the Love of God, nothing else compares. Gods love keeps you loving even when your love runs out. Loving your family , loving you church family, loving your enemies, loving others is limited to natural love but Gods love transcend human love and gives you the ability to love when your love runs out. Therefore don’t run out, be full of Him and see His love do what you are unable to do. In your own strength what you are unable to do He is able! Be filled , overflowing with love that will transform others in a way that you are unable . But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. You can follow the rules or you can love like He does and be a conduit of love to others.. We all can get filled but because we leak we need to be continually filled. Don’t wait ask Him for a fresh touch today..Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Quit waiting for the right time and compel other to know His love!

Jesus explains lasting relationships

Mark 3:31-35
Jesus’ Mother and Brothers Send for Him
Then His brothers and His mother came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him. And a multitude was sitting around Him; and they said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking You.”
But He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?” And He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.”

Lasting, healthy, relationships are equally yoked with the purpose of doing Gods will. Is the husband your perusing doing Gods will, your business partner, or even your friends? We often settle for so little when God has so much more for us. Let’s peruse lasting ,healthy relationships with others who are doing Gods will, it could change your life………

Another week of teaching on Honor!

image1 Peter 2:17
Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

When you realize how much God loves people, you will too.

The force of favor on your life, flows to you as it should flow through you.

It is time for you to forgive and let go of the past and start Honoring all people.

Just saying……….:)

Come to the Table

Just as Jesus “with fervent desire” called His disciples to come to the Passover feast, so He calls you and me to come to His Table and partake with understanding-celebrating His victory over the powers of darkness, proclaiming His redemptive work in our lives, declaring our dependence upon Him and one another, examining ourselves that we might grow as His disciples, and receiving every blessing that His sacrifice for us has provided.

conclusion: I. The Table is a celebration of victory.
II. The Table is a proclamation of redemption
III.The Table is a declaration of dependence
IV.The Table is a place for examination of self
V. The Table is a place for reception of provision
